- Excellent product, but the not a good as the non-cordless one.
At work I use this trackball. At home, I use the one with a cord. Overall, both products are excellent, but the cordless is not as good for super-fast pointer movement, so only gets 4 stars.
Let me explain: when I move want to move the pointer from the left of the screen to the right, I use a single thumb movement that keep the ball rolling through. At some speed threshold, the cordless TrackMan can't keep up and the pointer doesn't move at all. (!) The non cordless TrackMan goes as ... Read More
Rating: - Perfect if only a little larger
Set up was simple. I did have to follow the directions to get it installed however. I know that sounds strange but I thought it would be just a plug in and go thing. Trackball movement is smooth. I only wish there were a larger area for resting my hand. I had a Microsoft trackball for a number of years that fit my entire hand. If this is your first trackball, the size probably won't be an issue. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I had the original with cord and I am glad I kept it when I received this cordless mouse. It worked good for about 20 minutes and then froze. Also within the fist 20 minutes that it did worked the range was not 6 feet. It was more like 12 inches.

I got this because it is hard to use a my mousepad on my laptop. This is perfect. It fits in my hand and is comfortable. I would recommend this to my friends.
