The product works great! I am happy for this because now I can convince my wife that we don't need a new microwave (because the old one we had didn't turn).

The turntable has NEVER turned! I only checked one-star because there was no place to record a minus!
Rating: - Its not the old reliable Micro-Go-Round
We had a Micro-Go-Round for years and it worked the way you would expect one to work. After it died I ordered one of these. It didn't work right out of the box. Did I over wind it? I don't know. With the old model I could spin it with one finger. With this model you have to flip it over and use your whole hand being carefull to push evenly. The instructions said to wind until you felt resistance. I could not detect any change in resistance as I slowly wound it until it stopped.

This is one of the best microwave turntables I've had.Once it is wound and you set a container on it, it automatically starts rotating.Very cool!
