These add-a-trays allow you to expand upward and no tray rotation is necessary. How is that possible you ask? The drying pressure adjusts automatically to the number of trays you are using. - ADD A TRAYS
GREAT PRODUCT, I USE IT AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. I USE IT ON MY OLDER MODEL DEHYDRATOR.
Rating: - My husband just loves these!!!
I recently purchased 4 sets of trays for our food dehydrator from Amazon.My husband has become the "jerky" king of our town and he has been complaining about having to wait so long before putting another batch in to dry.The new trays now bring our total tray count up to 12 which is the maximum.Now he can do all of the jerky at one time by just rotationg the trays every so often.It is a great product!

- Not _REALLY_ a fit for a Snackmaster...
I've got a Nesco American Harvest Snackmaster, model FD-50.I checked the box before I placed the order because there's two sizes of add-a-trays with two different diameters.And, on cursory examination, it does indeed have the same diameter and so forth.But it doesn't quite fit.
The edges are slightly different and fittings don't quite align.If I put one of these new trays directly on the base unit, they don't actually fit the unit and leave a significant (1/8") gap all around ... Read More

Great price. Shipping was fast. I was a little disappointed that one or two of the trays were not perfectly round.It leaves a small space when placed over the other trays. No big deal there as it really does not affect the dehydrating process just thought I would mention it. I am happy with the purchase.

Ordering 4 more of these trays has allowed me to make 5-6 pounds of beef jerky in one session. Adding the additional trays didn't increase the drying time of the session very much either.
