These 12-3/4-inch screens (a set of two) can be inserted into the trays of Nesco American Harvest's FD-27 and FD-50 food dehydrators to prevent foods such as sugary fruits from sticking during the drying process. The fine-mesh screens are flexible, so they can be curled and foods simply peeled off. - worth the investment
These screens make cleaning up after certain foods much easier. Sometimes you do not even have to wash the trays themselves, just the screens. I dry banana chips and other fruits, and the flexibility of the screens makes it very easy to release the fruit from the tray. They are also invaluable if you dry small or fragile items such as herbs that would drop through the trays.

I loved the tray that came with my Nesco Dehydrator so much; I had to have four more! I buy a lot of fruit for my kids to eat, and I used to throw away a lot of fruit that would over ripen before they could eat it all (especially bananas).Once I got my dehydrator, I started making Fruit Leathers with the leftovers.my kids actually preferred it to the fresh fruit!

I was pleased to find these trays to fit my FD-35 Nesco Deydrator. I never found them in a store. I haven't used them yet but I know they will be fine.

The clean a screen does not fit my FD-50 properly.I have other screens that work well, but these are just a little too big.They wrinkle when placed into my trays.I cannot find another product at a price I can afford, so I will either leave them wrinkled, or trim them to size later.

These clean-a-screens work as expected.The small mesh grid keep things (like peas) from falling through the dehydrator.The screens are flexible so they are great for putting under sticky fruits so you can just pop stuff off.
If you are using a juicy/sticky fruit, your main trays will still get sticky and need washed.The screens only make it easier to empty the dehydrator.
