- Tiny work horse
If you are considering this remote over the RC5, look no further! The RC1 takes the cake. The RC5 cannot take instant shots, only 2 second delay. But this one has settings for BOTH - 2 second delay AND immediate. It is smaller than my thumb, but can stay attached to your camera strap via the attachment piece it comes with. LOVE that! Perfect remote. I can't think of anything I don't like about it.

I love this remote. I was amazed that such a product existed, for such an inexpensive price!!! Now I can take photos of my daughter & I together without time delay. It is small, compact, and very easy to use.

Not much to say here that hasn't been said.The RC1 does exactly what you think it does: triggers the shutter on my XT (and many other Canon cameras) remotely.
Two simple controls: a three position switch (off, immediate, 2 second delay) and a trigger.
