Amazon.com Review:
We've all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But too often we grab the easiest thing available instead of something with real nutritional value and flavor. Waffles, especially when made with whole-grain flour, are an extremely easy way to start the day on the right foot. The Morning Baker Belgian waffle iron takes the edge off morning hunger. It heats quickly, lets you know when it's ready, and cooks waffles in only a few minutes--take that time to slice some fruit to top them with. Cleaning up is easy, too, since the nonstick grilling surface wipes clean with a damp sponge or paper towel. The whole iron can be stored either horizontally or vertically, depending on space limitations. --Julija Gelazis

- A great inexpensive waffle iron!
I tried a few others in this price range, but I didn't like the thickness of the "Belgian" ones.I like a crisper waffle, and this one makes them perfectly. It has a nice darkness adjuster, like a toaster, so everyone gets the type of waffles they like.It cooks them VERY fast too!The nonstick is great and comes clean easily, even with a few batter run-overs I've had.The slider on the darkness adjuster is a little cheap, but it works.Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.
Rating:
- 10 years and still going strong!
I have owned one of these for (over) 10 years! It works well. Cleans up (exterior) with a damp cloth. You can clean out the waffle wells by letting the batter burn crisp, then brush out with a pastry brush. If batter gets in the screw holes or cracks, just use a toothpick. It has been reliable and the waffles cook consistantly.

- Durable - 3 years and still works perfect
I've owned this for a bit over three years and it still works perfectly. Easy to clean, uniform heat creates great waffles every time. Indicator light tells you when to quit and small footprint means it doesn't take valuable space in the kitchen. Very pleased by the performance and durability of the product!

- Great Waffles
I've had this waffle iron for years now, actually I used it so much that I had to replace it with another one.Love the fact that you can store it upright so that the footprint is compact.Waffles are great and evenly brown.

- Belgian Waffler
Very good product - makes waffles crispy outside and tender inside.Very good with strawberries and whipped cream.Takes only 8 minutes to make them just right for us.
