If you're heading off to college, renting a small studio space, remodeling the kitchen, or just love grilled cheese, the Meal Maker sandwich toaster is a great stand-in for a full stovetop. This sandwich toaster not only makes fancy panini-style grilled sandwiches in minutes, but also batter-based items, such as pancakes or omelets, as well as turnovers or French toast. An indicator light turns on when it's ready to cook, and another indicator lets you know when your meal is ready. Once you've placed a sandwich or other items into the toaster, the cover latches shut to keep batter in place or sandwich edges crimped. This is a wonderful little sandwich maker!!We love using it to make grilled cheese and other varieties of sandwiches.So fast and easy!!

this little gadget makes great omelets - stick to two eggs only, though, or it will spill over.as for grilled cheese, it works pretty well.but I have found if you put more than one slice of cheese on the bread the cheese all leaks out the sides of the bread.
Rating: - I don't know how it rates for sandwiches...but it's great for cornbread!
At my business (Nora Mill Granary, a grain mill in Northeast Georgia) we make & give out hundreds of cornbread samples each day.This little machine is perfect.It quickly makes individual triangles of cornbread, each cooked crispy & evenly.
Rating: - Pretty handy for quick meals.
This machine does exactly what it says --- cooks and grills your sandwiches for quick easy meals. So far, I have yet to eat a sandwich that has failed after having cooked with this device.
I have even made a sandwich with frozen salmon burger patties and I simply preheated the machine, built the sandwich and handed the final cooking job to the machine -- about 6~8 minutes later, I had good results.
