- Great product
My wife is a professional cook who kept breaking her egg slicers at work. I finally bought her this "high priced" egg slicer and it has worked perfectly ever since. You may find cheaper ones, but you also may end up buying five or six of the cheaper ones every year. This seems near indestructable.

This egg slicer is great.It is high quality, stainless steel and heavy enough to stay in one place while slicing.It is also easy to clean after use.Eggs and mushrooms are sliced perfect and evenly.A great gadget for the kitchen.

Recently the egg slicer I've been using forever finally gave up it's last slice.I bought one from a local home store but took it back when the slicers broke the first time I used it.I LOVE Amazon and tried my luck.I was not disappointed.Cuts smoothly and cleanly each time.So far only on eggs but strawberry season is arriving soon!LOVE IT!!

So often little things like this seem to have tiny annoying flaws.This slicer surprises by doing everything just as you'd want it to do.I.e. flawless.Allows different angles; easily cleaned.Something that makes life just a tiny bit better

I can hear you going aaack!, but yes, I use my egg slicer to slice whole green and ripe olives.(It's sooo much cheaper.)I had been using a slicer I received as a shower gift 35 years ago - a cheap little plastic one.I broke it on an olive pit!The reviews are what made me choose thise particular brand, plus it looked like it would be able to handle the olives.So far, so good.And, it does a good job on eggs, too.
