The makers of the I Love Lucy Game just might have "some'splainin' to do" themselves, since they've basically retooled arudimentary roll-the-dice board chase by gilding it with lots ofsuperfluous Lucy-goosey frills. Players attempt to move their tokenfrom the starting space (called "Ricardo's 3D") to the finish depictedon the board as the top of the Mertz's fire escape. Along the way, theytry to amass cash and character cards named for I Love Lucycharacters, while following instructions on both the board (such as"Return to Kramer's Kandy Factory") and cards drawn from either theLucy deck ("Fred puts ear muffs over his ears to keep from listening toEthel practice the piano. Collect one Fred card from the bank," beingone tortured example) or the "AY...YI...YI...YI...YI!" deck (we kid younot) which requires players to act out scenes from classic episodes.Casual viewers of the TV show, unfamiliar with these inside references,may opt to lose a turn rather than attempt to imitate Lucy as YankeeStadium hot dog vendor or Ping-Pong player on the SSConstitution. I LOVE LUCY will always be a classic of comedy television.My sister is a huge fan of Lucille Ball and when she purchased this game, she got everyone in the family to play along.Overall, the game isn't much different from basic board games and is somewhat similar to the Parker Brothers game of LIFE.The object of the game is to travel from the Ricardo's apartment at one end of the board and travel through a maze of spaces to arrive at the Mertz apartment with at least $100 and cards representing ... - I Love Lucy Game for Fans!
This game was a trip to play and a lot of fun. Not too hard to understand. You do need to watch the I Love Lucy Show and be real familiar with the details of all the original episodes show to play this game.I played this with 3 other women and we laughed our heads off.
You may want to rent or buy the DVD's to become familiar with the show again. Most younger people could easly play but they need to have seen this show to understand.

I Love Lucy has entertained us for more than 50 years. Now we can be entertained by a Lucy game instead of just the TV. This game is very fun and its great for the whole family. There is also some math in it which can help your kids with their math skills. It may not be the best game to help with math but there is money and counting involved in it. I really like this game. i didn't know what to excpect when i bought it i don't really know the companywho makes it. but when i got it i played and it was really fun. But u have to be a lucy fan and have had seen most of theshows. i takes a long time to play though. like 90 min. if u love lucy buy this game. and play with people that love lucy too because if u haven't seen the show it isn't fun. when your playing the game you start talking about the show and reliving all the show.

This game is really great. It keeps the whole family entertained for hours and hours and hours. You can play many many times before getting bored of it. Not really educational, this game provides more fun for people over the age of 11. This game requires a basic knowledge of I Love Lucy so I recommend that players have seen I Love Lucy. This game is fun for Lucy afficionato and people who have only seen the show once or twice. Lucy-tastic!
