- Not Exactly "Universal"
I bought this filter replacement for my "Honeywell 50100 Enviracaire Air Purifier." The filter came with scored lines and directions for cutting for each model, but they didn't work my air purifier, so I had to cut them myself, which was annoying since the filters are difficult to cut through.
Rating: - Filter is excellent!
Filter is excellent.The only drawback is having to cut it to fit the 17000 Honewell model filter.In the end, you end up with some wasteful pieces.

great been using this filter for yrs. nice not have to go to store and finding it out of stock

Excellent product.Gives the air a nice fresh smell.I use it in the room that I have the cat box.Maybe it's because it in such a stinky room and I run the purifier on high all the time, but I only get one month's use out of it and not the three it claims.After about a month I notice a definite difference in the general smell of the air.

Good quality does not drop charcoal dust.Enough filterto do my 17000 twice.Is one large piece preforated and you tear along preforation that fits your machine width.Depending on the width of your machine you get one or more filters.This is as good a prefilter you will find Honeywell brand.
