Myth: The Fallen Lords is definately a truely great game. I have been playing it for about 4 years now. I just wanted to add to these reviews that the single play aspect of the game is superb but everyone failed to mention the Multiplayer aspect of this game. Though bungie.net does not run an On-line server a couple of dedicated Myth fans created their own, which looks and runs just like bungie.net. Rating: - Innovative, one of the best real-time strategy games ever
Myth expands the concept of multiple unit battles in real time, where arm-chair generals control individual units in battles against sinsister foes. Unlike Age of Empires or Cossacks, both of which are favorites of mine, Myth involves gradually larger scale battles in a sword and sorcery setting. The graphics are superb, and the storyline gripping enough on its own to warrant novelisation (these guys invest heavily in story development). - Unique, fun, challenging and a one-of-a-kind game
I am not a real time strategy fan, I'm just not sure what that is exactly, but leave it up to game revewiers and the PC gaming community to come up with such silly terms!
