I made this purchase specifically because I wanted a pair of binoculars that I could carry in my purse or pocket.I have an expensive pair that are too cumbersome to take everywhere, and I rarely need binoculars for distance.
The Bushnell Powerviews are perfect for local birding and a quick check on the wave heights on the gulf from my porch.
Can you beat the price?I doubt it.

Maybe we got a lemon.....looking through the binoculars, you get a double image; like the left eye monocular was not pointing in the same direction as the right eye monocular.

I perform Quality Assurance checks for a Cable TV contractor, and these are perfect for looking up at telephone poles all day, making sure everything is correct.Well-built, they hold up well to folding, unfolding, putting them into my pocket, etc.Image is good, I just wish I could find a pair that didn't require me taking off my glasses.I know how it's supposed to work, it just never does.
