this is wireless-B - and is good for older notebook compatibility on a mixed wireless system.

Title says it all. Linksys/Cisco is also great for providing driver and bios updates for their devices, so I highly recommend Linksys adapters and routers.

This unit worked as advertised but short on distance.I have 98 SE and this unit was the only one that worked for me.I tried others but 98 would not run them.I'm satisified with the results but wish it had more range.
