Franklin LM6000b Speaking Language Master: 4/30/09

As an architect I use my Franklin LM600b Language Master (phonetic speller) to augment my computer's spell check.

I have used this same model with continuing satisfaction for at least 20 years.I originally bought one for my dyslectic son and one for myself.
Mine finally went dark after 20 years.I was very pleased to find that the LM600b model continues to be made. I am considering buying a spare.

This product is an excellent tool for those who have spelling difficulties and spell phonetically.The speaking component aids in finding the word that you need to spell or find in the dictionary.The voice component is very robotic.It is best used with headphones for clarity.
Rating: - Very 'basic' translator
Unfortunately I don't like because it don't expand, then I cannot use other cards with other language like spanish, portuguese, etc.

By any more money you can buy other new models that accept the expansion cards.
