Very nice heavy weight steel.Goes well with my All-Clad pots and pans and should hold up for many many years.Do not hesitate to purchase!
Rating: - My Favorite Cooking Utensil
Tongs to me are like American chopsticks, but of course far easier to use. It is the most often used cooking utensil for me, regardless of if I am cooking in the kitchen, grilling, smoking, etc.
The ability to grab small and large items, serve pasta, arrange items, turn things, mix, etc., is just priceless.
As a welcome gift or to help someone starting to cook I almost always buy them All Clad tongs. Once they use it and understand the functionality they become hooked.

- Entirely worthless.
Better off melting them down and selling for scrap than attempting to use them as is.
The picture is misleading in that the tong ends do not have any curvature and therefore no grip.If you want to get any use out of these, then you'll have to grab a hammer and anvil and beat the hell out of that purdy mirror finish until you get the structure and edges that you need.
Oh and did I mention that the arms bend when you exert lateral pressure in the squeezing motion?I need to ... Read More

- I have owned and used these tongs for 1 year plus...
Gorgeous, Heavy, but ultimately Fails to Perform. Locking mechanism is a nice feature but I do see where it could use improvement as attested to in prior reviews. Price to Performance ratio is a dismal dissapointment.
I use my tongs as an extension of my hands, using these tongs is like wearing teflon mittens dipped in lard, they just have no grip. Bending the ends in provides a slight improvement in gripping power but it is too little and eventually they bend back. The high spring tension ... Read More

What you expect from All-Clad.Heavy duty stainless steel and easy to clean.I'm not a fan of most locking tongs, but this lock will not lock accidentally.
