Rating: - Most often used pan in my kitchen
I use this pan more than any pan I have ever owned. I grill meat, chicken or fish on the front while grilling vegetables on the back. Even though it's non-stick, it's wise to brush the pan with oil before grilling as any non-stick pan will eventually start to stick if you don't. This pan makes fairly nice grill marks on food, too, which many indoor grill pans (with the exception of cast iron ones) do not.
A complete dinner from a single pan: who can beat that?

I have purchased so many grill pans and have been disappointed with them ...because they end up being hard to clean that you just don't want to use it anymore . A friend told me about this one so I bought it and after the first try ..it was a winner!!!!No more soaking,scrubbing ..just soap water and wipe..it's a joy to grill again.

Because I own a condo my ability to grill outdoors is limited.This grill pan serves as a practical alternative.Although as other reviewers have said you cannot expect it to impart the kind of flavor you would get from charcoal, it has a lot of advantages.The biggest one for me is that it heats up quickly which cuts down on my prep time.Because it spans across two burners it's also great for when I have a large batch of food to cook.I've also found that while it may not retain heat as well ... This is our first grill pan, and we are very pleased with it.It is the right weight, heavy enough to provide even cooking, but not so heavy it is hard to lift for cleaning.The handles stay cool, and the food cooks up evenly and well.It is great alternative when it seems to be too much trouble in the summer to use the outdoor grill.We have made grilled sandwiches, vegetables, and fish on it (we do not eat meat).It is the All Clad quality that we expected, and highly recommended, especially ... I had purchased a different grill pan and everything stuck to it even after I sprayed it with cooking spray. I saw Giada on the cooking channel use this same pan so I thought I would try it. I am delighted with it. I have grilled bacon and chicken and nothing stuck to it. I recommend this grill and don't worry about the price it is well worth it.Debbie
