- NO KIDDING! KID ICARUS ROCKS!
Kid Icarus is a creative and addictive classic that is challenging for all. If you were a koala, this would be your eucalyptus. It's an upward scrolling adventure game with basic jumping and shooting movements. In gaming, sometimes simple is best. A classic game like this tests your gaming skills unlike a lot of more modern games that rely on problem solving, task completions, and cheat codes. This is gaming as the good Lord intended. I have loved this game since i was a kid. from the cherub to the glass of wine that replenishes your soul. It's Great!

The title speaks for itself!Hard, but yet fun!The music score was soothing and enjoyable to go with the game.Puzzles are cool!Graphics were well advanced for 1986!Like Metriod, it does'nt fool around for one minute.You can't mess fool around and explore like you can in Mario or Zelda.You gotta know what you're doing or else "you're finished." I am still trying to get past the second level so I really suck.The passwords are just as hard as playing the game itself (this was when passwords ... Read More

With the release of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, I was curious as to where exactly Pit came from.With how many games I've played, I was amazed that I'd never actually even heard of Kid Icarus.Especially because it was a very successful and popular video game in the NES days, where I began my gaming.It may be late, but I'm glad I went back and played the original Kid Icarus.Also, if anyone is interested, it has been released on the Wii's virtual console and it should only cost you 500 Wii Points to ... i got this on the Wii's virtual console sometime ago cause i never played this game so i gave it a shot and its realy challenging but i would get it if ur a pit fan or classic Nintendo fan like myself PS Pit owns in SSBB
