Product Description:
Revere, 8 QT, Stainless Steel, Restaurant Style Stock Pot, With Copper Clad Bottom, With Cover.

Amazon.com Review:
Classically tall and narrow to slow evaporation, this 8-quart pot is ideal for simmering soups and stocks, cooking pasta, and making party foods, such as chili, when the house is rife with talk and appetite. Revere's Copper Clad cookware is made of handsome, mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel. Both the pot and lid have big, easy-to-grip handles. Copper is cookware's best heat conductor, and each pot or pan has a copper-clad bottom that spreads heat quickly and evenly. This pot carries a 25-year warranty against defects and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

Features:
  • Stainless steel vessels and lids for lasting beauty
  • Copper bottom for quick, even heat distribution
  • Phenolic stay-cool pistol grips and knobs for comfort; tight-fitting stainless-steel lid
  • Hand washing recommended; oven-safe to 350 degrees F
  • 25-year warranty against defects

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointment deluxe!
I've owned Revere Ware for over 30 years and love cooking with it. But I do not recommend this new, feather weight verson of cookware. A disclaimer with this pot stated "do not use high heat". What? Following the warning - I did NOT use high heat and still ended up (after 1 use) with a stockpot bottom that flexes (pops) in and out when picked up from the cooktop to the counter. Disclaimer also states - discontinue use if bottom should ... Read More
