Wonderful item to portion food and it can come to the table piping hot.Love them....from custard to brocolli souffle I use these almost daily

You always expect CorningWare to be good and this product is no different.Just right for making a side dish of Mac & Cheese.The delivery was earlier than I had expected.

- One broken, otherwise okay.
When they arrived I could hear that one or more were broken inside, and I was very right. One is broken and one is cracked down the bottom. I called Amazon and sure, they were nice, but this isn't the first time I've recieved a broken item from them.
I am currently waiting for the 12-piece corningware set and I am pretty uneasy about receiving them. Hope they're not all broken too.

- NOT for use with a TORCH or BROILER
These ramekins are NOT for use with a TORCH or BROILER people! Read their bottoms for the caution. I know the Corningware of old could be used on open flame, but not these. I have several colors of these and they all say the same thing (disappointing, eh?). Porcelain ramekins=ditto. These may end up exploding in your faces if you use them inappropriately, so I hope someone who is will come back and read this.

These are great little dishes, i really meant to order 4oz ramekins, but glad to have these. you can bake so many different recipes with the 7oz. ones.
