- From Dusk Till Dawn is Far Better
Weak 80s horror.I have to admit I'm spoiled by modern technology for special effects.Unless an older film is done very well, I have a hard time enjoying it.I know this is anathema to most cinephiles, but its my situation.And this one falls into the category of immensely weak (by modern day standards) special effects which make me laugh more than the originally intended emotions.Further, this movie seems to have played at least some role in influencing From Dusk Till Dawn, one of my absolute ... GRACE JONES IS GOOD IN THIS MOVIE.SHE'S THE QUEEN BITCH!I LOVE THE WAY THEY PLAY WITH THE COOL SHARP COLORED LIGHTING. STUPIED FRAT BOYS ON A MISSION TO FIND A STRIPPER FOR THERE FATERNITY. THEY WIND UP IN A HOLE LOT OF MISADVENTURE AND VAMPIRE TROUBLE.WORTH HAVING IN YOUR COLLECTION.WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CHRIS MAKEPEACE,ROBERT RUSTLER AND DEDEE PFEIFFER! HMM???

I dont realy like vampire movies but this is s real good movie, i saw it in 1987 in cable and i am surprised they never play this movie in cable anymore,by the way Dedee pfeiffer was in playboy in 2000 for anyone who had a crush on her.I have to admit she had great legs in this movie.
