The "GQ look" is synonymous with classic cool and sophistication, anddespite a recent outburst of trendy magazines (think Maxim and FHM) vying for theattention of young professional males, the steeped-in-traditionmonthly GQ carries on without missing a beat. Yes, there's moredécolletage gracing the cover than there used to be, butGQ continues to supply enough cultural commentary, celebrityprofiles, features, and style guides to keep the modern man in touchwith what's going on in the world from month to month.

GQ'sideal reader is probably one who actually might be able to afford anyof the high-end suits, shoes, and watches featured among the countlessads packed between the covers. Though the average reader might enjoyscanning a fashion spread about steakhouses entitled "How to Dress fora Porterhouse" and reading articles like "50 Ways to Blow Your Bonus,"it's unlikely that such folly holds much practical advice. Literaryeditor Walter Kirn keeps short fiction on display, and Alan Richman'swriting on food and dining out is always entertaining, even when hecomes across as borderline cranky. Two regular Q&A features, "TheStyle Guy" and "Dr. Sooth," run the gamut from when it's appropriateto wear a straw hat to problems in the bedroom.

Just look at the cover...is this magazine targeted at the single male or what?....but GQ isn't glib...it has great articles,great photography,it's quality!
If you enjoy this magazine you will almost certianly enjoy the new dvd "Single a documentary film"..it features a cast of entertaing and thought provoking experts,comics,Singer/songwriters and "real life" people sharing their insights and observations about the complexities of relationships in todays crazy world"

Rating: - BEST EVER!
This is my all time favorite magazine of all time. It can appeal to everyone! It has articles ranging from sports to cars to clothes to relationships. Love it more than anything!!!! I have read every one since 2001!
Rating: - Fashion, style, and opinion all in one!
GQ is always full of interesting fashion tips, and suggestions for today's man - looking to better his sense of style, charm, and taste.It offers a variety of different topics including mens health, fashion, and even political views.Personally, I look forward to the cologne samples packed in the magazine, as well as the various websites they offer.

I subscribe to 3 mens magazines:
- Best Men
- Esquire
- GQ

Of the 3, GQ has possibly the best style tips, merchandise, and fashion articles.However, the other articles aren't so well written as Esquire, whose approach is usually on the humorous side.Best Men, well, it has a very down-to-earth approach to writing, which may or may not be loved (sometimes I find it a little too serious of a tone in a magazine).
