Amazon.com Review:
A rare feature among hard-anodized cookware, Anolon Titanium isactually dishwasher-safe. However, it offers cooks many advantages longbefore cleanup time. Constructed of extra-thick aluminum, these heavypots and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly (no hot spots) andwon't warp. Their handsome, charcoal-gray exterior is harder than steeland resists scratching and denting. Inside, they're coated withDuPont's exceptionally durable Autograph nonstick that readily releasesfood. Stainless-steel handles have an attractive satin-finish. Thehandles are rounded for comfort, hollow to stay cool on the stovetop,oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and have hanging holes. This classic,slope-sided, 8-inch skillet is perfect for frying an egg orpan-roasting a hunk of halibut.
Unlike conventional hard-anodized pots and pans, this cookware isdishwasher-safe because its titanium-composite exterior is nonporous.Nevertheless, its virtue of being dishwasher-safe is not unlimited. Toprevent pots and pans from discoloring in a dishwasher over time--andto prevent voiding the lifetime warranty against defects--themanufacturer's cleaning instructions about water temperature (120 to140 degrees F) and detergent (mild, with a phosphate content less that7-1/2 percent) must be strictly observed. As with most cookware, handwashing Anolon Titanium is the better alternative for ideal care.--Fred Brack

Rating:
- Excellent in every way
I've had one of these pans for nearly 4 years, and just came by the product page because I nicked it, and now I want a brand new one. At just $20, it's an incredible bargain! But this pan is much more than just a bargain. In spite of having knicked the nonstick surface, I think that if I hadn't, the pan would last a lifetime. And it is by far my most used piece of cookware.
Another reviewer called this pan "too heavy," which I disagree with because high quality pans have a little bit ... Read More
Rating:
- Easy to clean
I have a set of anolon Titanium pans and love them because they cook well and are easy to clean.
Rating:
- Solid Skillet, Good Surface, Even Heat, and Goes in the Dishwasher
A very good addition to the home supply of pans and skillets. There is a nice heft to the pan, it heats evenly (though, like most relatively heavy pans, it takes a while to get up to full temperature), and the cooking surface is non-stick, but without the ultra-slippery "plastic" feel that some non-stick pans have.Add to that the fact that it can go in the dishwasher, and it makes for a very good pan.
Rating:
- So far so good
I like the fact that I can put this in dishwasher.
I've had this for about 6 months. It started to have grease built up on the side (inside and outside) that I can't wash off easily.Don't want to use metal scrub to clean it becasue i don't want to ruin the non stick layer.
Rating:
- good but has its flaws
pros:
1) Heavy,well built.
2) Excellent non stick coating.
3) Looks like it will last for years.
4) Dishwasher safe (with restrictions).
cons:
1) The handle becomes too hot. After few minusts of frying an egg you can touch only the last 5 cm.
2) Not very stable. tend to lean to the direction of the handle (on my gas stove).
