The Timex expedition series watch I have owned for more then 10 years , I have changed the battery's 3 times I think..this watch has been in the dryer the washer more times then I can dread to think of , and it still going ,the only reason I'm getting a new one is because the little buttons to change the time and date are so worn out that I have to use a pen and my thumb that feels like a work out every time,clocks must be reset...best watch I have owned..and the warning alarm I set still goes ... - Don't wear in water.
Stopped working 2 days after purchasing and after submersing in a swimming pool for 5 minutes.Watch is dead now, my kid is sad. I'm out over $30. Good lesson for him though, don't believe advertising.

- The most recent in my long line of Timexes - superb
I've owned 4 Timex Indiglo sport watches over a period of 16 years, and I'll buy another when this one gets lost (they never actually wear out, so no need to plan for that).I scuba dive down to 60 feet, run in the rain, work in a laboratory with heavy equipment, and nothing ever breaks the darn thing.I particularly enjoy this model because it has three different alarms that can be independently turned on and off.Before buying I would have thought this excessive, but it's actually tremendously ... Rating:
- Small & simple
Best watch for those who need small and simple, but high quality watch. Notable features:
* Lightweight, soft and fast velcro wristband.
* Bright backlight activated by large button on the front
* Relatively small size
* Large digits
* Day of the week and date
* Intuitive interface - easy to adjust time even without the manual
There is a timer and alarm as well. I don't use these anyway.

- Perfect for a young boy.
We needed a good first watch for our 8 year old and this fits the bill. The smaller diameter fits his wrist well but it is very masculine. He loves announcing the time.
