- Not as it is cracked-UP to be
Basically, the FOODSAVER system is sound and well designed EXCEPT for the canisters which often crack. Many of us have urged Tilia to upgrade the plastic canisters, and so far they have refused. I do not put the canisters in the dishwasher, or even use harsh chemicals. One canister cracked, pressurized, on the shelf after a few weeks without being moved. When you call Tilia they will let you know that there is NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND on their canisters, which tells volumes about how they view their ... Read More

- Love the Marinator
We got this a while back and love it. It works great for marinating other than top-of-the-line steaks (who wants to ruin a good steak with marinade?), pork chops, chicken, country style ribs. I love to stick my chicken breasts in with 1/2 container of water and a buch of seasonings. Two hours later throw the breasts on the grill and yummy! Tender, juicy with just enough flavor that you don't need to add sauce. Also works great for making jerky - marinading the meat first adds so much more flavor vs ... Read More

- 2 1/4 qt marinator DISASTER
Great concept, but in reality it was a bust. Got one to marinate my foods prior to grilling. After first HAND WASHING, rubber gasket around rim came out, absolutely NO WAY to get it back in and STAY in. Refused to create a tight seal. Used it ONCE.Thought I had a 'lemon' so bought a second one. Worse yet. This time, rubber gasket 'grew' and I could not get it to lay in the rim properly no matter what we tried. FINALLY got it in and began sealing. machine turned off as if seal was complete. Turn nob ... Read More

- Works fine
This marinator woks very well, it's the right size for what we use it for. Is easy to use. The times we have used it the meat comes out tender and tasty. It marinades in half the time too.

- None of these containers are worth a dime
This company keeps making the containers full knowing that they will crack on the bottom. Some legal action needs to be taken against this fraud.Don't buy anything from them
