- The lid does not fit on it.
The lid doesn't fit on it if you are using the basket. The lid does not have a cut out for the handle and leaves a section uncovered. This steamer is no different then putting a strainer in a pot and putting a lid on it.I returned this the same day UPS dropped it off, I was expecting something much better.

- I love this cooker
I have used this cooker several times already and I love it.I made spaghetti and it turned out great.I browned the meat balls and then added the sauce (I love only having to use one pot for the whole meal). The sauce does not burn onto the sides of the cooker either.Very easy to clean.I can't wait to use it to make more meals.I only wish it was a little bigger, maybe a little wider. But overall, I really like this cooker.

- Great Product for on the go.
Bought this for the camper - wanted to boil pasta and sausages while camping - With the lid on, this got up to a rolling boil quickly, cooked great.A small mess with boil over, so watch for that. The included strainer basket is very low quality - but not what I bought it for.The non-stick coating is great - it cleaned up easily with a sprayer.Great product, does just what I need it to.

- Presto Multi-Cooker/Steamer
The main advantage of this cooker is that it allows one to brown meat, and saute onions etc. before slow cooking. That means one pan for everything; no extra pans to clean.Plus, it's well made, easy to clean, and reliable.

- disappointment
The first word that comes to mind over this cooker/steamer is disappointment. The unit is smaller than the dimensions given and the wall thickness of the unit is substantially less than the older model (10 years older) that I still have. The result is a less satisfying cooking result. It probably will be okay for soups, but for frying and general heat retention for roasts & crockpot meats I'm not at all satisfied.
