I gave Smithsonian to my son in law for Christmas one year and he requested I renew the following Christmas. Both he and my daughter love this magazine.Beautiful photos and very informative. A great magazine for the money.

Although not all of the articles interest me- most do, and I learn something new each time I read and/or browse the magazine.

- A great publication - RENEWED annually
I've read this magazine myself after beginning to give it as a Christmas gift to a very difficult-to-buy-for person on our list. After the first year of gift subscription, we were given the renewal notice as a "hint" for what to get him for Christmas again. We've renewed at least for three years for this individual. He loves it, and I personally find the magazine to well-planned, well-written, and beautifully illustrated.
Oh--and the price it is offered at on Amazon is great. Quite a deal. ... Read More
