Product Description:
Above All Co. The Forearm Forklift moving straps were designed in 1997 by a professional mover who is still very active in the industry. After many years "on the truck" he felt compelled to invent a tool that actually eliminated the risk of floor damage. A claim that only the Forearm Forklift can make since the dolly and hand truck require the rolling of wheels on your sensitive floors. Coincidentally, he also designed them ergonomically to encourage proper lifting techniques and body mechanics. They are actually the first and only OSHA accepted moving tool ever to reduce potential injuries due to heavy and repetitive lifting.
Benefits:
- Reduces weight of item being carried by 66%
- Creates handles on any hard-to-handle pieces
- Great for going up and down most stairs or truck ramps

- Performs as publisized
I bought this to help moving some pieces of furniture around and for moving things up the stairs as I live on a third floor.
It helps manuver quite well but it does not allow to lift too much weight as the forearms get very tender.
For heavier tasks I bought some straps that base their support an all my upper body, and have had better results with this.

- Awesome Straps, Easy Lifting!
These straps worked out great. We were able to move stuff around without breaking a sweat, or my back.If you are moving something and need to walk a long distance, consider the shoulder strap set they sell on amazon as well.I now have both in my collection of tools, and I am sure people will be trying to borrow these left and right.
A great product! Highly Recommended

- Forearm Forklifts are great
I recently moved and thought I'd give this product a try.We moved several large pieces of furniture with no problems at all. They worked amazingly well on the front load washer and dryer, but didn't work so well with the tv.(Sony 32" xbr crt...very front heavy) The tv was to front heavy to balance on the straps, so that is not a flaw with the straps. We did have some trouble trying to maneuver a couch down the basement stairs, due to the tight clearance. One thing to consider is be aware of ... - A Must-Have for Moving
The Forearm Forklifts definitely make it much easier to move heavy objects.I'm always afraid of hurting my back, and these things encourage me to use proper lifting technique (using the knees, not bending at the waist).
Also, sometimes objects are heavy to move because you can't get a good grip on them, not because they're heavy. The Forearm Forklifts support whatever you're lifting from the bottom, so you can use your hands to hold the sides. Then I can concentrate on moving safely ... Read More

Arrived very timely and with excellent instructions, and a real tool for anyone who does moving of furniture or appliances. Even moving just one item saves the back and gives you lifting options.
