- One Of Hope's Funniest
This is one of my few Bob Hope "keepers," not that I didn't like the man; I just found most of his movies somewhat corny.However, as silly as this one is, it's also very funny and very entertaining.....and that's the name of that tune, as "Baretta" used to say.
The story moves fast, which tells you it's entertaining, and has a good mixture of comedy, drama, horror and romance. Paulette Goddard is a very attractive, likable female lead and Willie West provides a lot of laughs as Hope's ... Read More

Not long after the success The Cat & the Canary Bob Hope & Paulette Goddard were reunited to do The Ghost Breakers. There are a lot of similarities between the two films but The Ghost Breakers is even better. It's typical Bob Hope, ever the coward & wannabe ladies' man, full of one liners & puns.
