- Wonderful wok
Although I haven't used this wok much, but not for want but lack of getting the veggies for Chinese cooking in my area.The few times I have used it I found it to be very good cooking and clean up was a breeze, since it is stainless steel.

I bought this in April of 2005 on Amazon.When I received the wok, the first thing I noticed is that inside of the top lid was slightly dented (but no big deal).Second, the little side grill that comes with it is 100% useless because you can't put the lid on the wok while you have that little grill hanging on the inside!So, what's the point in even having it?Beats me.
Also the big plug that goes into the wok is really HARD to push in!I'm not kidding.You have to sort of grind ... Read More

If you understand the most fundamental principle of wok cooking, you know that you want a small, concentrated spot of hot oil in the bottom of the pan, in which to flash cook your food.The food is rotated through the oil quickly, and a minimal amount of oil is used.
The problem is, that this Rival "wok" actually has a flat bottom, 7 or 8 inches across.Thus it is really shaped like an "everyday pan," and is incapable of true wok cooking.It should be called an "electric everyday pan." ... Read More

- biggest darn wok I've ever seen...and nicest one too
this mean machine will allow me to prepare a meal big enough for my hungry family of five....it's real solid and sturdy....cleans really easily...all in all one of my best purchases yet..
