Amazon.com Review:
Ideal for home or office, this French press coffeemaker doublesas an insulated thermos so coffee stays hot and fresh for up to twohours. The pot holds 34 ounces (1 liter), nearly seven 5-ounce cups, and can be used for brewing tea as well as coffee. It's made ofstainless steel polished to a mirror-finish, has a large, comfortablehandle, and is dishwasher-safe. The lid seals in heat remarkably welland turns to prevent heat from escaping through the spout betweenpours. The pot stands 8-1/2 inches high, including the plunger top.--Fred Brack

- Good as a maker, not so good as a thermos
I really like the pot as a french press.Cool design.Cool aesthetically.Unfortunately the coffee does cool down very quickly. So if you're thinking you're getting a good deal with this seemingly two-for-one (like I did) you will be disappointed.Even after warming the carafe before brewing, the coffee only stayed a drinkable temperature for a half-an-hour or so.

- Adore this product - best coffe, great price, durable!
I've owned many coffee makers, presses, grinders and the rest...what can I say...I love java. This however, is by far my favorite. Big enough for two oversized mugs, keeps things warm and works like a charm. I've owned mine for 2.5 years and it's as good as the day it arrived. All stainless makes clean-up a breeze. One of my favorite products - simple yet elegant to fit into any decor, always a great cup of coffe. No need for filters, build-up etc..

- Stainless for my first French press
I had never used a French press before. The coffee is definitely better! It takes longer than drip, but it's not really a big deal.Cleanup is actually slightly easier.
I was reading reviews and it seemed like the glass models are more complicated and tend to break, so I figured I might as well start with this one.I'm glad I went straight to stainless, even though it's more expensive.I haven't tried the others, but this one is definitely easy to use and clean.I can't really ... - hard to clean
Extremely well made and attractive product. We use it on our RV so we don't want to wash the coffee grounds down the drain. So we have to use our hand to drag out the grounds.A bit of a mess.

- Nice design, decent product
Nicely designed thermal french press.Thermal insulation definitely keeps coffee warm longer than our worn out glass press but doesn't keep it hot like a sealed carafe would.Love the stainless steel pot but was disappointed that the lid was plastic, especially for the price.
