Great knives.Has a nice heft to it and it feels comfortable in your hand.Makes even the toughest cuts of steak feel like it's made out of butter.
Not a fan of the box.It's completely made out of wood and you place the knives edge side down.I wonder if this will help to dull the knife faster?

We got these knives as a bridal shower gift in 2002 for our wedding from my great-aunt. We got the 8 piece set in the brown wooden box. True the box is not the greatest, but it doesn't really matter because the knives are what matter. The only reason tbe box matters is if you are giving the item as a gift, then of course you would want it to look ok (which ours did) but it doesn't have to hold up to much wear and tear. Comparing these knives to the rest of the available choices is unfair.They have great weight and balance and cut very well.
