Product Description:
Based on Stephen King's novella CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF, SILVER BULLET concerns a small mountain community terrorized by a half-man/half-beast of folklore. After an encounter with the murderous werewolf, wheelchair-bound Marty Coslaw (Corey Haim) becomes saddled with the unfortunate knowledge of the beast's human alter ego. With some help from his sister (Megan Follows), his goodhearted alcoholic uncle (Gary Busey), and his turbo-charged wheelchair, he sets out to rid the town of the murderous scourge. King also wrote the screenplay.
Amazon.com:
Corey Haim (back when he was still cute) and his souped-up hot-rod of a wheelchair are all that stand between a sleepy little New England town and a ferocious full-moon killer in Stephen King's adaptation of his novella Cycle of the Werewolf. This minor entry into the werewolf canon lacks the scares and sense of humor of superior hirsute thrillers The Howling and An American Werewolf in London, but pays off in some nice casting touches. Gary Busey is loyal to the end as Haim's beer-guzzling Uncle Red, Twin Peaks's Everett McGill cuts an unsettling figure as the town minister, and fleshy B-movie icon Lawrence Tierney (Reservoir Dogs) is the gruff bartender who breaks up bar fights with a baseball bat called "The Peacemaker." The monstrous wolf beast, a towering mountain of fangs and fur, is the creation of Carlo Rambaldi (E.T.). --Sean Axmaker

- One of the Best Werewolf Movies Ever!
I'm a bit biased since I have been a fan of this movie for so many years, but I truly believe that this is one of the best werewolf movies ever! It never gets old and has a lot of memorable scenes. I am not a fan of Gary Busey, but I really do like him as Uncle Red. That Silver Bullet wheelchair motorcycle is awesome! Do you need a license to drive that? lol. Anyway, this is a highly recommended movie. After all, it is based on a story by Stephen King!
Rating:
- I love this movie
Although the reviews for this movie are generally "ordinary" I really love this movie.I guess the best thing about the movie is closure, when the movie ends thats it.No cliffhangers, they get the bad guy, and live happily ever after!
Rating:
- Awesome movie
This movie is an olde but a goodie.Just watched it again for the first time since I was a teen.Still as scary and great to watch as it was then.A must see for any King fan or horror/scary movie lover.
