In total, I was pleased with this product.It arrived with a few scratches to the teflon but this didn't hinder the quality of the waffles cooked as I always use peanut oil as a lubricant.I like the simplicity of operation, it does what it promises.

I'm a fan of traditional sourdough waffles, making them frequently and freezing extras.This is not a perfect waffle iron, but it's far better than more costly and less well-designed alternatives such as Cuisinart's. This one is easier to fill, overflows less, is FAR easier to clean if it does, and makes waffles in a more useful size.The cooking surfaces can be reversed to grill sandwiches or make panninis or quesadillas (it's the right size for a burrito-size tortilla).It could be improved ... Rating: - The waffle iron of choice.
I like to stick to the standards and this waffle iron is one of them and even better. I do like the addition of the flat grills on this model. They outer shell is a bit thinner and does get hot, be careful cooking with children. Why buy something fancy or good looking, when this is all the waffle maker you need. Buy it.

My husband and I searched high and low for the right waffle iron.What can I say.He's picky.He didn't want the big thick Belgian waffle irons.And it had to be square.
