Product Description:
This tiny strainer holds back even the smallest particles of sediment. The mesh is exceedingly fine and tightly woven, resembling a sheer metallic cloth???it looks delicate, but it's actually quite strong. The double-rod stainless steel handle stays cool to the touch even when the bowl is resting in hot liquid; a squared loop of the same stainless steel keeps the bowl in place.Use this strainer for tea and other infusions, for clarifying a small amount of liquid, or for that occasional glass of wine into which a little cork has fallen.
Amazon.com Review:
One of Rösle's superb kitchen utensils, this 3-1/4-inchfine-mesh strainer is ideal for filtering leaves out of tea and groundsout of coffee. It's 8-1/4 inches long overall and has a 1/3-cupcapacity. Like all Rösle Open Kitchen components, tools, and utensils, the strainer--including mesh--is made of 18/10 stainless steel forrustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The rim has a brightmirror finish while the wire handles, one long and the other oppositefor support, have a brushed finish. The support handle is bent so itcan rest securely on the edge of a cup or mug. A hanging loop on thelong handle permits the strainer to be conveniently stored on a hook inRösle's Open Kitchen system of basic rails and Gridwalls or hung on anyhook or peg. All Rösle products are made in Germany, aredishwasher-safe, and carry a lifetime warranty against defects.--Fred Brack

- Nice, but the price!
The Rosle tea strainer is as advertised.A very fine mesh strainer and well made. All but the finest bits of some ground English Breakfast Tea were caught in the strainer. This particular tea blows right through an infuser basket.Regular tea leaves are no problem.
The Stainless steel is easy to maintain but industrial looking. Not particulary attractive as a table accessory. The price for this item is very steep for what you get.A table caddy with a drip tray might make it a ... Read More

- Shoddy Quality
This item although expressly and impliedly advertised that it is Made in Germany is actually made in China. The item is generally of a very poor quality. I would not buy it for the price advertised and I am trying to get my money back
