This little 250-watt workhorse comes in handy when a full-size foodprocessor is unnecessary. The 3-cup work bowl is just right for making pesto ora salad dressing, and two receptacles in the lid have pinholes for one or twooils to stream into the bowl while the processor is blending a perfect emulsion.It's also ideal for chopping and grinding. Pressing the "chop" button deploysthe sharp edge of Cuisinart's patented reversible blade to chop onions, herbs,or bread crumbs. Pressing the "grind" button whirls the blade in the otherdirection so its blunt side can grind nuts, coffee beans, or cheese. Compact atjust 9 inches high and lightweight (it has a plastic body), the Mini Prep Pluscan be tucked away in a cabinet, and the little spatula accompanying it goesinto a drawer. Rating: - nice and easy
I had one before,it was hard to clean and did not do as good of job.
Icook and bake a lot this makes it very easy to do griding and chopping
and clean up.

Don't fall for the "brushed chrome" nonsense. It is cheap plastic painted a slver color. I am very disappointed.

I have had other choppers in the past, but this one only lastedTWO USES!!!!. I couldn't believe that a huge chunk of plastic flew off right in the middle of creaming my small piece of cream cheese.(you can't put anything in till you have it all cut into small pieces)
What a waste of time and money.I am hoping to get compensated or at least get a new bowl!!!I was very disappointed:(:(

Rating: - Nice little chopper
This is just perfect for me since I have avoided recipes that have diced onions or peppers since it just so tedious. A couple of cuts with the knife and in they go and a few seconds later I have nicely diced onions or peppers. What more could I ask for?

I previously purchased a Kitchenaid mini food chopper and had to send it back, TWICE.After reading reviews, it seems that many other consumers had the same problem.

I looked up the Quisinart mini-prep and ordered it.It is FANTASTIC.I haven't had any problems.It works everytime and perfectly.

I ended up purchasing another one for my mother and she loves it too.

It's worth every cent...Great product, you won't be disappointed.
