Before the Telecommunications Act of 1996, I was among the many prohibited by local laws and homeowners' associations from putting up a roof antenna. Placing one in the attic was inadequate, and gave me 2-3 truly clear channels, and many snowy ones. I opted for basic cable.

Most of these reviews focus on digital cable (which is understandable) but this amplifier also works wonders for over the air digital TV as well.

Comcast in my area is horrible & there were channels that I couldn't even watch because they kept cutting out & getting help from them was impossible.But this definitely helped & now I can watch all channels.
