- Works well
Before the Telecommunications Act of 1996, I was among the many prohibited by local laws and homeowners' associations from putting up a roof antenna. Placing one in the attic was inadequate, and gave me 2-3 truly clear channels, and many snowy ones. I opted for basic cable.
In 2005, I found that my antenna gave the full spectrum of digital OTA channels, until I split the signal. My upstairs TV got them all but my downstairs TV fell slightly short. It was split again to feed a VCR, and ... Read More

- Great for Over the Air Antenna Reception!
Most of these reviews focus on digital cable (which is understandable) but this amplifier also works wonders for over the air digital TV as well.

- Works like a champ!
I don't write a lot of reviews, but after reading some of the previous reviews of this product, I was compelled to write this summary of my experience with this signal booster.
For the past 3 years in our home, we've had intermittent problems with the digital cable reception. Most times it was fine, but the signal would often lose strength in the warmer summer months for unknown reasons. And the reception problems usually happened in the evening, and almost always on the higher channels. ... - Good Buy
Comcast in my area is horrible & there were channels that I couldn't even watch because they kept cutting out & getting help from them was impossible. But this definitely helped & now I can watch all channels.

- Motorola Bi-Directional Cable Signal Booster
This booster is our second of this Motorola model. The first one lost its bi-directionality after five years' use, but even that was a vast improvement over similar Radio Shack boosters which failed totally and repeatedly just after the 1-year warranty expired. This Motorola amplifies our cable signal enough to run seven TVs through a signal splitter as well as our cable high speed internet service. When our cable people checked the signal at the TV outlets as well as that via our wired internet broadband ... Read More
