Rating: - I miss this CD
This cd was in the dash when thieves broke in my car and stole my cd player. I was bummed about the broken window, the missing cd player, but mostly my Raphael Saadiq cd. I know I should just buy a new copy. I will, but for now I'll just reminisce about riding in my car listening to Instant Vintage. He has a new song out now with Stevie Wonder and CJ that I really like. but overall his current album is so-so. Instant Vintage was his best so far.

Actually, my love of D'angelo drew me to this CD, and i love it. Now i'm a bonified Raphael fam.
Rating: - Underrated Release
While nothing ground breaking, it is a nice piece of music to listen to if you are into urban style R&B with a neo-soul feel.

Raphael Saadiq is one of the most underrated artist of our time. From his days in Tony, Toni, Tone until now, he's made music for the art and not for commercial gain (at least it seems that way to me).

The songs that caught me was "Be Here", "You're The One That I Like","Faithful" and the last track on the CD. "Body Parts" is quickly becoming a "bedroom" ... Read More

This is my first solo album of his. I've got all the TTT albums. He's carrying on the soul touch.
