- Great hide-away desk chair
We have a desk space built into a closet which holds our computer.We needed a chair that could be put away but still comfortable.I found this bench and decided to try it.
This a perfect solution for us and the bench is comfortable to use.At first I did not have high hopes but I am considering ordering another for my desk chair.

I was a little worried after seeing a few of the complaints that the bench wasn't tall enough, or was too unstable, but I was really happy with this bench.
It's at perfect height, in fact I've sat on many a piano bench that were lower than this one (at its heighest height). The bench is also plenty stable. I'm not a kid (at least in body) and it supports me just fine, no wobblying. The cushion is also plenty comfortable.

We've had this bench for approx 8 months. We bought it for our 11-year old daughter who would be taking piano lessons. We also have a three-year old son and a five-year old daughter who frequently use this bench in order to play around on the piano.It has SURVIVED well!!!

- Poorly designed and manufactured product
Two minor gripes with this bench are 1) the legs are not spread out far enough making it somewhat unstable, and 2) there are only three height settings which allow only two inches of adjustment.
More seriously, one of the tube feet on the bottom of the bench was so badly warped that the bench would not sit flat on the floor (it rocks back and forth).This defect makes an already unstable bench even more dangerous, especially for (fidgety) small children.

The bench is OK.Comfortable, but a little wobbly.It's small, light weight, and cheap, but OK.The box says the bench is "from Yamaha and Others" in small print - it says distributed by Yamaha, but that it is made in China. The quality you would expect is definitely not there. Also, I ordered model PKBB1...They sent me PKBB1-MM...which is listed separately on the Amazon website for $5.14 LESS.So I guess they are the same, but Amazon doesn't tell you that.
