- There is a reason all the TV chefs use this product
I am sure that Le Creuset sends all the TV chefs samples to use on their shows to promote the product. But they still use Le Creuset even though some have their own line of cookware.
The reason: it is simply the best!
Look at what the cooks use on each show, it almost always includes at least one piece of Le Creuset cast iron cookware.

- My favorite pot for roasts
Nothing beats this heavy gauge pot for even cooking of meats and stews. I've had mine a few years and it's the pot I always reach for when I cook a pot roast or braised short ribs or stuffed peppers. The oval shape lends itself wonderfully to leg of lamb or any elongated cut, and wash up is a breeze.
Use it on top of the stove or in the oven with equally fantastic results. Yes, it's pricey, however, this is a pot you'll keep for a lifetime and pass down to your kids. I received mine ... Read More

- The Single Most Used Pot in My Kitchen!
We can't live without our Le Creuset cast iron oval French oven. Not only does it cook beautifully, clean up easily and transition easily from one environment to another, but it helps me feed my army while delivering a plethora of nutrients and vitamins.
For example, I'll cook a huge pot-roast with cabbage, carrots, potatoes and onions one night, then put all the leftovers in the refrigerator overnight. The next day I'll just pull out the French oven, cut up the left overs, add more ... Read More

- Love it!
I bought this for my husband and he loves it.My grandmother and mother both had one just like it which my husband admired very much, so I bought him his own.It is just the right size for us, and the price was the best I could find.

- Excellent quality, what you'd expect from Le Creuset!
Bought this for my wife for her birthday. It is an excellet pot for making stew, roasts, risotto, etc.Heavy & durable, easy to clean. The 5-qt size is a perfect everyday size and doesn't overwhelm the cooktop.Still able to use the other 3 burners when using this pot.
