- best rice cooker
This is the second one of these that we have used.The first one we received as a gift about 8 years ago, and when it finally "expired" we were frantic to find another rice cooker.I was so excited when I found this one on Amazon.It was great to be able to get an exact replacement for our previous rice cooker.The rice always turns out great (whether it's wild rice, brown rice, white rice, etc).And the automatic shutoff is a great safety feature.

I bought this one as a replacement for an old one I had. We cook with it every day and love it! It is the perfect size for our family. Although the picture shows it with a clear lid, the one I received in the mail had a white lid.

I have had this product for over 20 years, the earlier one was just replaced by the new one, I use this product every week, it's good for rice, fish, just about any veggie, I was so glad to see that they still had this product to buy, most good items are gone and you have to sub with something else, kudos to BLACK AND DECKER.

THIS IS MY SECOND ONE OF THESE STEAMERS. I USED THE FIRST ONE ALMOST DAILY FOR OVER 5 YEARS. I LOVE THE VERSITILITY OF THIS ITEM.MAKES EXCELLENT STEAMED SHRIMP, THE RICE IS PERFECT EVERY TIME, VEGETABLES TASTE GREAT. JUST A USEFUL ITEM TO HAVE IN THE KITCHEN.

It seems the seal that keeps the water in the bottom of my steamer is defective.I thought I had it fixed by pushing it in a little, but last night came home to water all over the counter and floor after setting it out for several hours to be ready to turn on when we got home.Despite being a mess to clean up, it seems dangerous to have electrical appliances sitting around in pools of water.Save your box and receipt, so you can return it if needed.I was disappointed to discover that you cannot ...
