- My Favorite Kitchen Tool
This is the best little kitchen gadget.I make a lot of pesto and chopped garlic-based fresh sauces.This is great for chopping veggies and salads including chicken salad and veggie salads, lemon and orange zest. I use it everyday.This is a practical and economical time and hand saver!

- Small But Well-Designed
There are two negative points about this unit.
1.It is little.I made a few days' worth of minced meat to add to my
toddler's food and had to do it in several batches to finish it.
2.If there is a bit of liquid in the food to be chopped and is filled up to the maximum line, the liquid oozes out.There is no seal whatsoever to keep the liquid in.So, in the middle of chopping, I'm constantly having to wipe the bowl all around.

Those who purchase the PROCTOR SILEX FOOD CHOPPER expect to get a chopper that can do the following: easily chop a variety of food, be space conscious, be easy to clean, be reliable/sturdy, and be reasonably priced. This chopper does all the above.I do have a caveat though.The advertising suggests that the prospective owner intend that he/she use it with only that single person in mind. Rating: - Handy little chopper
Yes its small but when you only need a small chopping job done this is your tool. I dont always need or want to take out the ginormous food processor for chopping a half cup of onion or celery. I have had this for about 10 yrs now and use it regulary and have had not one problem. Although it might be time to replace it with the same exacty thing because the base of the blade was not always dried properly and its showing signs of rust I think. My husbands fault on that not the product.
