Braun carafe has a great feel in the hand when filled with coffee.Good
balance.The spout gives a very good pour.Sits firmly on the coffee
plate.Cleaning is easy and should be washed after every use for
optimum whiteness.

...think again! It's a fish bowl, an herb garden planter, a coin bank, an ant-farm habitat container, a magnification device.... It is NOT a door-stop, a step stool, a meat tenderizer, or a tire chock(block) - go figure.

this was a very disappointing attempt at a purchase: after waiting 1.5 wks for my purchase to arrive, i called the company that was supposed to ship my product only to find out that they did not have my ordered item in stock--they told me that they hadn't had that item in stock for months and that amazon.com was at fault for not up-dating that information.....regardless of whose fault it is, i'm still without my coffee carafe!!

This replacement carafe is identical to the original.I am very happy with it.

The purchase of the carafe was solely to replace a broken one of the same model and color. When it arrived, the carafe was white not black, as ordered. Even the packing slip read that it was black. Since coffee is such an important part of my family's morning, I'm living with the white carafe, even though it sticks out like a sore thumb on my countertop.
