After buying this product....I went ahead and bought some BIC in-wall's....which sound great as well!....not an audiophile...but when using this product in a whole house audio system...they sound great!....using these speakers in my bedroom "zone" (sonos)

I'm a bit picky about realistic sound; I did a bit of conducting in high school and college.So, it is little wonder that I'm still running a mint pair of ultra-clear ESS amt 1B floor standers in the audio room and Paradigm Mini-Monitors in the HT room.

The speakers are great.They have a nice range and sound.They are a tad bigger than I thought, but that is because I didn't measure ahead of time.
I was hoping to get a little more base out of them, but they are ok.
I can say they are a great product for the price I paid.

I bought mine modded from Ed Frias. They are the nicest sounding bookshelf speakers I've ever heard. I'm powering them by a Dayton amp from amazon and I use a very nice sound card on my computer, which makes a huge difference no matter what speakers you use. I'm extremely happy with the sound and the quality of Ed's work.

I needed some very small speakers for my home theater for the left/right front channels. (Small size needed due to 2:35 to 1 projection screen lower edge about 18" from the floor.) These were perfect. They replace two KLH-33's from the '60's. They prove once and for all that name brands are generally way over-priced- you are paying for a name.
The other speakers in contention were Sony's, also excellent for the money, but they were a little too big.
