- This is why older girls dont like it people! ( plzread!! )
Okay so igave this 2 stars because it god for girls under 10 becuase when U R under ten years old you have not gone throw puberty no insert in boys and make up and celebs and that other stuff. Because it show girls fun crafts and party ( that they REALLYover do )And the only celeb they show are cheesy pops stars like hillary duff and hannah montona. - Awesome Magazine!
This Is a great magazine for girls 8-10. I personally think it is an awesome magazine. It has lots of fun craft ideas, party ideas, stories they publish, pictures, animal posters, and much more this is really not a beauty magazine and does not really talk about popstars
Rating: - Aunt buys magazine for Niece.
Niece was originally 14 years old when I first started buying her this magazine for Christmas. Even though she is now 16 years old she still enjoys reading the magazine and once again asked me to renew it Christmas.

i think that you can be any age too read american girl. I am almost 14 years old and i still read it faithfully. Some of my friends dont read it anymore because it is too young fot them,but i still think i will read it when i am older too! it may not give tips on boys or makeup but if you are looking for these things, you should read another magazine. I have the Dec. Issue (awesome!). I has a cute seal poster and how to make these little polar bears and penguins that taste like peppermint. There is also a mealtime quiz and is really fun. I like it a lot.
