- Excellent resource for screenwriting
Script is an fantastic magazine for anyone who is interested in the writing that makes or breaks a film.The contributing authors offer practical advice on how to tackle different screenwriting issues.The articles on recent and upcoming films are very insightful.Even if I do not find the film's subject to be particularly interesting, the article usually focuses enough on the writing and production aspects to entice my curiosity.I look forward to every issue, and I am disappointed only by the ... I have subscribed to a few magazines like Creative Screenwriting and Writers Digest. I think this is one of the best magazines because it really looks at the writer and what writers go through in regards to writing a script. It's focus is not just on major movies like Creative Screenwriting. I think the big difference between the two is that Script has a variety of films/television it reviews and critiques. With so many options out there for any field, it is hard to determine which magazines to choose for research, ideas, and so forth.As a filmmaker, we subscribe to a few for our industry.We've only received two issues so far, as a new subscriber, and are so happy to have finally gotten a magazine with CONTENT.I am so sick of advertisements filling 90% of the pages of most magazines, and with SCRIPT there are actually articles you will read and learn from, as well as enjoy.

As an aspiring screenwriter, I can't explain how motivated I am after every single issue of Script. Most of the articles make me feel like I can really do it -- and I really love the change over to Final Draft. I think they've made the magazine exponentially better.

I ordered a subscription to SCRIPT and never got a single copy.Thus, I'm highly unsatisfied.
