The decanter drier is stable. The rubber stopper sometimes prevents all the water from draining which creates a spot on the decanter bottom.

- Doesn't hold decanter securely
I'm perplexed by the other reviews, or possibly I just have a bad one but I find the tip on the end of this is very slippery and does not function to hold the decanter securely well at all. I had been using it until the other day when you guessed it, the decanter slipped and cracked up it's side as it went. I cannot recommend.

After I purchased my "Luigi Bormioli Esperienze 88-Ounce Decanter", I realized it was a pain to clean and dry.There was no way I was taking a chance on putting it in the dishwasher so I ended up drying it out with paper towels (BIG mistake - lint) and then dry cloths with a fork.It took too much time. This Cilio drying rack is perfect.Not only does it look good on the shelf or through a glass door cabinet, it dries out the decanter with no water lines or spots.It's made out of stiff and sturdy ... Although small in size; this stand keeps my decanter very stable.Also, the rubber tip on the end ensures no scratches on the glass bottom.I use it with a Riedel Ultra Magnum decanter with no worries.

This drying rack was cheap and easy and it does exactly what it's supposed to do.The padded tip keeps the decanter in place without fear of it falling over.I use this drying rack even with our most expensive decanters.No complaints.
