- Great idea, terrible execution
A cup-at-a-time coffeemaker is a great idea, but this one was poorly designed and performed unacceptably.First of all, the water flows into the grounds so quickly that the compartment overflows.Second of all, because of the way it's made, when that happens the water with coffee grounds in it backs up into the water reservoir, which becomes filthy with coffee grounds.Third, because of the way it's made, it's not possible to open up the reservoir sufficiently to clean it out.So pretty quickly ... An excellent and inexpensive unit that does the job pronto! However, NEVER use Amazon's "One Click" ordering. I ordered ONE pot, received THREE, returned TWO and am having difficuly receiving the credits.
Rating: - Can't do without it
This little drip coffeemaker is durable, inexpensive and absolutely perfect for anyone preferring a fresh cup of coffee each time. It arrives with a permanent filter but I prefer using # 2 paper cones, apersonal choice.It's a little workhorse, easy to clean with no bells and whistles - no clock, timer, or Muzak; but for the low cost dependability it's a terrific buy.
My first one lasted more than 5 years, which added up to .02 cents per day.A great choice.

There's no bells or whistles to this coffeemaker.Just fill it up with water, put your ground coffee in the basket, and press the button!It works fast and the coffee is piping hot.The only beef I have is that if you aren't super careful about how you pour the water in, it could get into the basket area and start dripping out before you have your cup under the dispenser.Otherwise, a good buy for the money, and I get to have coffee when my husband takes the whole carafe from our regular coffee ... I bought this because every once in a while I wanted to brew just one cup of coffee.When I used my bigger coffee maker, it always seemed like I was making too much and had a lot of waste.I got this cup at a time maker and it's working out great. It brews a cup of hot coffee in just a few minutes so there's no long wait for it to finish.I also found that if my husband wants a cup of coffee too, I can make him a cup of the coffee he drinks and then make mine.All in under 5 minutes.(He drinks ...
