Rating: - One star deduction for price alone.
I purched my product in 2005 for $39.99 -- Shipping was $6.95. My mom's blender broke and I hadn't been using mine too often. I had a separate food processor .. so I handed it over.
I decided to get back online to purchase the same blender again.. and WOW. $54.99 for the SAME model? $12.95 shipping? Whew. Talk about feeling the pain of the economy.

I experienced two drive adaptor failures, which were "infant mortality" issues as they failed upon first use. Oster was quick and courteous in responding, and I am now in operation with the third, and flawlessly operating, unit. In fact they sent an entire food processor unit the third time.
Five stars for product support.
Rating: - a wonderful, affordable blender
I've had this blender for years, and it still works perfectly.I use it every day, and I use the food processor at least twice a week.
The only issue I have with it is the food processor jar.If you fill it up too much, and there's a lot of liquid, you will get leaks.However, everything else about this machine is so great that it doesn't really bother me that much.I highly recommend this.

Fantastic product with a very powerful motor.Cleanup is easy.I use it mostly to make smoothies with frozen strawberries; in a flash it is ready.

I bought this from WalMart.I was using it to make baby food, and it burned up the FIRST time I used it.My house stinks like burning plastic.I am avoiding this brand, because I bought this one to replace my last Oster that burned up.I'm never buying this brand again!
