- Simply The Best Professional Sound card EVER!!!
If you are a music producer like me this is your card, very high quality sound card do not buy the crappy M-Audio USB sound cards or digidesign usb and firewire cards if you want a stable applications and the best quality always comes from pci cards.

- Good value, bad Vista driver, customer service is awful
This is an affordable card for a basic home studio.Unfortunately I've found that on Vista, the driver crashes your system upon going into sleep or hibernate mode.I reported this problem to M-Audio.They reported that Vista SP1 drivers were not ready yet and would be released soon.I waited and downloaded the current driver which still crashes, and provided a minidump of the crash. The representative was courteous and promised to follow up with a developer, however he never got back to me and ... - Good product
It does what it's supposed to, still learning it's operation, it has many features. Music is a hobby and work comes first.

- Excellent Sound!!
Bought this card after some research on medium end cards (I am a home/enthusiast musician). This card works great on Vista (with or without SP1); haven't tried XP but should work just fine. I use Sonar 6 for music recording and editing; Sony Vegas Studio 7 for video editing. Works flawlessly. I saw huge difference between this and my old SoundBlaster Audigy card. With so many inpus (all sorts), you have power in your hand. Only caviat is that it might be combersome to organize the I/O pins. But hey, ... Read More

- Simple and good sound
Yes, it's the right picture. Midiman changed their name to M-Audio. I don't know why they are listed as midiman here. I have one of these and a full Delta 1010 and they work together perfectly. The sound is high quality and I've never had driver issues or anything like that. The only strike against it is that its hard to get at the inputs without a full breakout box like the full 1010. But thats a small trade off considering its $400 cheaper.
