- Great pair of Clippers
I just brought the Wahl 79900N yesterday and boy do I love it!! I cut my son's hair using the 1/18 clip(or whatever it's called) and it gave him a nice even cut. I hated taking him to the barber shop and waiting 2 hour to get a haircut, what a pain. Now I can always keep him fresh to death and not waste 2 hours of my life in a loud barbershop.
My only drawback is the trimmer that pops up, it doesn't give a good clean shape up. I will just buy a T-Line separately. But overall I am very happy. ... Read More

The clipper itself works great. Yes, it is a little loud, but it's an electric hair clipper. I would not expect it to be whisper-quiet any more than I would expect a silent lawn mower.
My clipper arrived with one of the guide combs missing teeth. I emailed Wahl and immediately got a response that a replacement was being sent; no back and forth, no climbing the CSR ladder and having the blame moved to Amazon. Immediate action and great customer service.

I bought my set of WAHL clippers after my old set went dead after 10 years of service.This set works just as good as my old ones and with the bonus of the trimmer makes this a must have.

Wahl 79900N Clip-N-Trim
I have to agree with one of the other reviewers that the detail trimmer is not the best quality. It's flimsy and doesn't clip on like the other attachments. It takes fiddling to get it to work and the plastic seems like it will break eventually. The case that it comes in is roomier that the last wahl I had but again the quality is subpar. The plastic pieces are used to hold the clipper/trimmer unit was broken off with this unit and 1st one I received. Also ... Read More
